170 'High Tea' Spiritile
"Yes, that’s it! said the Hatter, it’s always tea time. " - Lewis Caroll.
Always prepared for tea, one of the lessons the Mad Hatter taught was that sharing a relaxing afternoon conversing with friends is one of life's gifts. Fiction is truer than truth in Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, a story that has helped us carry on the narrative that our "curious appetites" always lead into adventure and fantasy, even if your only company are a dormouse and a hare.
Houston Llew is an enameling artist of his own distinctive genre specializing in glass on copper artworks known as Spiritiles. In his kiln-hot Atlanta studio, each tile is made by hand using ground glass that is painted, then kiln-fired to copper and enveloped around a solid frame. Every Spiritile has its own story wrapped around the sides to match the iconic and inspiring moments drawn from life. These pieces are best enjoyed together in a collection that reflects your unique style and story. They are made to be gifted, collected, and treasured for years to come. Welcome to the family!
