"Dave Likes Cleveland!"
Our audience is now so used to seeing our upward thumbs and baby blue likes that it has watered down the message. Cleveland has enjoyed and benefited from its positive press lately. We are in the midst of our 15 minutes of fame and we know it! All the while our real estate, construction and design professionals are hustling to make sure we're ready to welcome our largest crowd of guests with open arms!
But the "like" button doesn't tell our RNC friends or anyone else why we like Cleveland. They need to see, feel and be touched by our hometown pride first hand. Why do we love Cleveland? Why do you love Cleveland?
Is it our beautiful architecture, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, University Circle, Playhouse Square, our park systems, or one of the many others?
We don't have the manpower to explain the many reasons we like Cleveland to such a large audience. I propose we let artwork do the talking! Take a close look at your office, cafeteria, conference and banquet rooms. As you upgrade your surroundings, use art to display all of the things you love about our city! Share our architecture, parks and destination places through photographs, paintings and sculptures of our city! Do this and our RNC friends will feel the pride and energy we have about Cleveland every time they look around while they eat, meet and play in our great city!
